Our Team

Noorullah Atmar, P.E. - Principal

  • Bsc in Civil Engineering, University of Maryland
  • Licensed in Virginia, Maryland, & Washington-DC

Noor has experience in the design of mixed-use, multi-story commercial, residential, educational, industrial, garage, and office buildings. He is also involved in the design of retrofitting and renovating existing buildings to meet the needs of clients. Noor has worked on projects in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Florida, Tennessee, and Texas.

Noor’s main project works include:

  • High-rise & low-rise commercial steel buildings in high seismic regions
  • High-rise flat plate concrete buildings (PT & Non-PT)
  • Cold-Formed Steel Residential Building On Concrete Podium
  • Masonry Buildings
  • Various Steel Canopy Structures
  • Roof Top Solar Panel Structures
  • Mechanical and Medical Equipment Anchorage to Existing Structures
  • Wood Apartment Buildings
  • Roof Top Equipment
  • Miscellaneous Structures (Stairs, Railings, Fences, Sculptures, & Signage)

Noor is experienced with design systems that utilize reinforced concrete, wood construction, masonry, and structural steel. His job responsibilities include structural analysis and design of new and existing structures, drafting, detailing, investigation, and evaluation of existing structures for renovation and conversion to other uses, and upgrading of existing structures. Noor also has extensive experience in the use of major structural engineering software for both gravity and lateral analyses as well as design.

In addition to the design, Noor performs regular site visits to ensure the smooth transition from design to construction and completion phase.
